birthday shanti of my beloved grand father

Dr.N.S.Anantharangachar Swamy is being celebrated on

Monday,the 6th of March,2000 at Parakala Mutt,

Bangalore. There will be Veda Parayanams from 1st of

March in his residence at Vijayanagar.

I would like to extend an invitation to all of you.

Many may happen to be at Bangalore at that time.

I apologise for the break in the serial " the gist

of Sri Bhasyam on the ChatussUtrI " . I was not well

(bothmy son and I had typhoid and now we are better)

for the past 2 months. Also the matter is given to the

press.

ITSELF UNDER THE TITLE " RAMANUJA ON THE CHATUSSUTRI " .

Dear Swamin,

 

Namaste. adiyen had the bhagyam of participating in the masa tirunakshatram

of Sri nigamAnta mahAdeshikan in the presence of H H Srimad Azhagiya Singar

last evening in the divine sannidhi of Sri Malolan. Please find the

photograph (HH receiving sannidhi mariyadai) attached with this mail. After

tirtha prasadam, HH gave a moving discourse on the greater of Sri Deshikan.

He recalled Sri Deshikan's contribution to Sri Sampradayam and emphatically

proclaimed that it would not be wrong to say that Sri Sampradayam owes its

very existence to Swami Deshikan. He touched upon the admiration that Sri

Appayya Dikshitar had for Swami and how Swami's poetic genius has remained

unparalleled. He also movingly described Swami eedupaadu with Sri Lakshmi

Nrusimhan. He advised the devotees, sishyas and the admirer ashtikas to take

up the study of Swami's work with right earnest and blessed the goshti.
