194. ahnAya rAmavirahAth pariKhinnavrutthE:

AshvAsanAya BhavatI maNipAdharakshE!

teerThABhiShEkamapadhishya vasunDharAyA:

chakrE thadhA samuchitham shishirOpachAram

 

Oh Paaduka! The land suffered the separation from Rama; Bharata too

did not accept the throne;

You presumably wished to render a cooling service to relieve this

grief of the land. You

therefore, adopted the coronation ablution ritual as a pretext so

that

the land, the people,

could get so soothening a relief from the waters of ablution that

will

not be available by any

other process.
