He gave a lecture for an hour and half on the importance of gadyatrayam and why people should constantly read / understand and practice the principles. My parents were overjoyed to host the occasion. There were several bhagavathas who also came to our home. It seems that they are planning to conduct Ramanuja Jayanti on a big scale. My mother, who attends the ahobilamuth daily aradhanams, told me that young kids who come to ahobilamuth recite vedams without looking at a book. Adiyen wishes that our jeer continues to bless everyone's home by bringing home that " Mobile Archa Murthy " which is the most auspicious universal power - " mangalanam cha mangalam " and of course the one friend of all in whatever situation one is - suhrdam sarva bhutanam " . During the lectures Azhagiasingar remembered all of us here ie. abroad away from India and blessed all of us. My mother was saying that it is good that people are remembering acharyas and they should do it. However, the surprising thing is that azhagiasingar remembers all of you who stay far away, that too very often. This is really all of your punyams. A few days back adiyen / adiyen's wife talked directly to HH azhagiasingar. HH blessed adiyen to continue the talks on Gita. HH even told me that Gita ARthas can be learned by one and all (including women). When I first came to US, I used to feel that I have given up everything traditional and lost all the orthodox divine environment which adiyen had when I grew up. Adiyen is happy that in spite of being " so deep into lowkikam " , we are spending a few minutes here and there thinking about Gita / shastras and our divine wisdom of our acharyas. We should continue to meditate on that wisdom and of course that " sriyah pati " constantly. We cannot meditate on Sriyahpati without the blessings of bhagavathas and acharyas. It is only an accident / blessing that we can focus on God, inspite of the dynamic forces in our life which could easily lead us to material entanglements. Like our unimitable sage Yajnavalkya puts in Brihadaranyaka - " Anyat Artham " - whatever work / activities we undertake which does not involve meditation on God only is sorrow or will lead to sorrow. Hence, let us remember this wherever we are. adiyen Krishna Kalale
