during the occasion of the ninth ChAthurmAsya sankalpam .

There is nothing more we can aspire to do than supporting

our beloved AchAryan and help him perform the extraordinary

kaimkaryams that he is doing on behalf of one and all

for lOka kshEmArtham .

He has been blessing us with KaNNinuNN SiRutthAmpu

in his own inimitable way and is lighting the dheepam

of Jn~Anam and reverence for our ancient sampradhAyam

tirelessly . The least we can do is to fall at His holy feet

and offer a samarpaNam to Him for undertaking future

kaimkaryams and to cover the expenses of many a major kaimkaryam

that he has already started. The remaining sum of $8,850

can be easily raised with 90 sishyAls each giving $100 .

Of course , the mahAn who led the way by donating anonymously

$10,000 needs to be emulated with in the limits of our

capabilities .

sampradhAyam. Nava Vidha Bhakthi (to Nava NarasimhAs)

indicated by PrahlAdha is one example :

archanam vandhanam daasyam sakhyam aathma nivEdhnam

The particular significance of the Ninth ChAthurmAsyam

The signiifcance of the ninth ChaathurmAsyam can be

viewed as a very special one to this UthtamOtthama

AchAryan because He belongs to the tradition of

worshipping the Nava Narasimhans of AhObilam .

His dheerga-darsanam ( far sightedness) to create the funds

for the Monthly Svathi nakshathra AarAdhanams for the nine

Narasimhans of AhObila KshEthram , while performing daily

AarAdhanam for MaalOlan is to be revered by us , the SishyALs.

He is an AchAryA dhIpam for us shining from the top

of Ahobilam hills and guides our way daily .We have a duty

as instructed by poorvAchAryALs : " Gurum PrakAsayEdh DhImAn "

 

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SRI LAKHSMI NRUSIMHA DHIVYA PAADHUKAS ?

Our Matam is known as " Sri Matam " . Swami Desikan in

one of the PrakIrNa Paddhathi slOkam of Sri PaadhukA

Sahasram has revealed to us that the paadhukais of

the Lord are His Pathni , Sri Devi , the lioness

who is the consort of Sri Nrusimhan:

 

" Moorthy: SriyO Bhavasi Maadhava PaadharakshE

Naathasya Noonam uchithA Narasimha MoorthE: "

(Meaning ): Oh PaadhukE ! When Sri Narasimha BhagavAn

glances at You , He recognizes You as MahA Lakshmi ,

who has incarnated with the roopam of a lioness matching

that of His own roopam as Narasimhan for enhancing the

isvaryam (Sampath) of PrahlAdhan .

 

Our AchAryan worshipping /serving Sri MaalOla PaadhukAs

appeals to the PurushakAram of MahA Lakshmi on our behalf

to seek forgivance for our limitless apachArams and to

help us gain the supreme boon of MokshAnugraham from

Her Naathan .

" Sri Nrusimha padha-thrANa sEvaika kuthukI Bhudha :

NaarAyana YathIndhra mE sannidhatthAm sadhA hrudhi "

 

(meaning) : May that JyOthi known as Sri NaarAyaNa Yathi

shining as Azhagiya Singhar from Sethu to HimAchalam,

who is happy only in worshipping the PaadhukAs of

Lord Naraimhan shine in my heart always .

 

Our AchAryan's Parama KaruNai to His sishyAs

Our AchAryan's Sishya Vaathsalyam is well known.

He has been verily compared to the Mother Cow that

blesses abubdantly the just born calf with milk

(anRu eenra kanRukku irangi Surakkum dhEnuvaip pOl).

The milk in this instance is the milk of Jn~Anam .

This milk is blended with honey and given to us as

parama hitham.

 

He prepares us for the HITHA-TAMAM (Supreme Hitham )

of Sesha Vrutthi and Aathma bhara-arpaNam (SaraNAgathi)

in the spirit of this slOakm :

feet of this great Yathi known as Sri NaarAyaNa

Matam to keep it strong to serve our ancient SampradhAyam

of praachIna (ancient/timeless )aachArams. His glances

are full of compassion for his sishyAls.His righteous

conduct and illustrious jn~Anam , vidhvath in many Saasthrams ,

outstanding Tapas are unique. As a holder of guNams like

Saanthi , santhushti and other aathma guNams , he has

very few matches in this world . He seeks the hitham of

all and is endeared by every one , who come into

contact with Him. AdiyEn salutes such a MahA yathi

and meditate on His auspicious attributes .
