261. agrasthasthE gamiShyAmi mrudhnanthI kushakaNtakAn

ithi sIthApi yadhvrutthimiyESha praNamAmi thAm

 

I prostrate to that Paaduka Devi, whose duty even Sita wished to

perform, when she said, " I shall go ahead of You (the Lord),

trampling, with the feet, on the grass and thorns on the way " .
