These posts are based on the upanyasams of Srimad Azhagiya Singar at the conclusion of Abhigamana Aradhanam. Body ---- To cross a river we need a boat. If one tries to cross a river by swimming he is bound to get washed away or crash into a rock and die. Our body is like a boat. Samsaram is a ocean. We must use this body to cross the ocean of Samsaram. Our legs are meant for going to His temple, our eyes are for beholding His thirumeni, our ears are for hearing his Thirunaamam, our hands are for doing Thiruvaradhanam for Him. If we use our body in this fashion we will not drown in this ocean or crash into rocks in the ocean. srimad azhagiya singar thiruvadigaLE saraNam -- adiyEn ramanuja dasan
