Guest guest
Sri: SrimatE Gopaladesika MahadesikAya Namaha, Dear Bhaktas, During the tele-upanyasams of AsmadhAcharyan, H.H. Srimad Poundarikapuram Andavan Swami, Adiyen wrote down notes for selected Shlokams. Adiyen will share these notes on this forum. Namo Narayana, SriMuralidhara Dasan 62. One attains Swargam as a result of one's puNyam. However, as one enjoys the pleasure of Swargam, these get depleted. When all the fruits of their puNyas have been exhausted, one returns to Samsara (Bhulokam). Therefore, even the pleasures of Swargam are like hell, especially as the stock of one's PuNyams get depleted and they near the end of their stay in Swargam. Their state is similar to that of a rich man who is nearing abject poverty after squandering away all his riches. Therefore, even the pleasures of Swargam are transient. Mukunda is one who bestows Moksham. The Paaduka of Mukunda has a status that is unmatched! Those who contemplate on the Mukunda Padhuka and respectfully receive the Mukunda Paaduka on their head will be freed from all desires for transient pleasures. Instead they will be blessed with the desire for experiencing BrahmAnandam arising from eternal residence in Sri Vaikuntam.
