Guest guest
Dear SrI Ravikumar SeshAdri, >1) is it not strange that we offer as Nivedhyam to >our Lord, what entirely and solely belongs to him ? All the SAstras state that Lord SrIman NArAyaNa: is the Seshi. But the Lord himself enjoys the nivedyam offered by the bhaktAs and prapannas who do it with Satvika tyAgam. This " nivedyam " will be strange only when it is not done with Satvika tyAgam. A jIvAthman who has understood his swarUpam (seshatvam) and does the naivedyam as a part of AarAdhanam as per SAstra, without ahamkAram and mamakAram, with love towards the Lord is very much liked by Bhagavan. The prIthi is very important. Further, there is SAstra-vidhi to do this nivedyam. Also, the naivedyam which is offered to Lord becomes pure and when the jIvAtman takes the offered naivedyam, becomes purified with sAtvika guNa. Without offering the food to the Lord (who is in Saligrama form or vigraha-form in our houses), we are not supposed to eat food. >2) since Sriman Narayan is present as antharyami in all >chits and achits ,how are we permitted to breathe the air , >drink water , eat food , wear cloths etc. , as all these >achetana vasthus are also likely to have our Lord as antharyami ? >Can someone clear adiyen's ignorance ? This case infact encourages us to use air, water, food etc., because " KaNNan is dhArakam, pOshakam and BhOgyam " . Please do not take the literal meaning here. When we use the natural things like air, water etc., we have to remember the Lord's mercy and also the fact that these are the property of the Lord. These things are not declared as " nishidhdam (prohibited) " by the SAstra. Air, water, food, cloths are infact precribed by the SAstra in karmAnushtAnams. Therefore using these things as per the vidhi is not in any way to be considered apachAram. Thanks & Regards M.S.HARI Ramanuja Daasan. __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=
