Guest guest
SrI: SrI Lakshminrusimha ParabrahmaNE namaH SrI Lakshminrusimha divya pAdukA sEvaka SrIvaN SaThakOpa - SrI nArAyaNa yateendra mahAdESikAya namaH Respected Bhagavatals, adiyEn's namaskarams to all the learned Bhagavatals of this group. It is indeed some great Purva Janma Punya which has got me into the group of such distinguished and learned Bhagavatals. Special thanks are due to Sriman Madhava Kannan and Smt. Praveena for introducing me into the group and to Sriman Deelepan for considering an useless person like me fit enough to join the august group. As a brief introduction, adiyEn was born in Mysore on 09.08.1958 to Smt. Sharada and Late Srinivasa Iyengar. That day happened to be Rohini Nakshatram, Astami Thiti when the whole world celebrates the birth of our Lord Kutti Kannan and hence adiyEn was named as Ananthakrishna. We belong to Hebbar Srivaishnava community with most of our relatives settled in Karnataka. I do not know much about our ancestors or how they settled down in Karnataka except that our Kula Devata is Yoga Narasimha at a place called Shanti Grama near Hassan in Karnataka. Presently I work in Jakarta, Indonesia where there are around 20 Srivaishnava families. My wife, Hiranmayi and our two children have been living here since 12 years. adiyEn had the bhagyam of having samshrayanam done by HH the 44th Jeer of Ahobila Matham, SrIvaN SaThakOpa SrivEdhaantha DhEsika yatheendra mahadEsikan several years ago at Bangalore and recently Sharanagathi under HH the 45th Jeer of Ahobila Matham,SrI Lakshminrusimha divya pAdukA sEvaka SrIvaN SaThakOpa - SrI nArAyaNa yateendra mahAdESikAn at Alwar Thirunagari. The great joy was to be introduced to HH by one of the shisyals as a friend of Sriman Dileepan simply because of having browsed the Ahobila Madam page to see Jeeyar's tour program and immediatly thereafter to receive a mail from Sriman Madhava Kannan introducing me to Sriman Dileepan and to the net membership!!. So adiyEn considers the membership to this net as a divine sankalpam to educate this ignorant person. Even though adiyEn cannot contribute anything useful to the group, the postings are thoroughly enjoyed by me. The recent serial on A day in Sri Sannithi is so enjoyable that it is like a slow motion video of the day spent at Alwar Thirunagari during adiyEn's last trip.
