Guest guest
Friends, In my last post I made an error. Socrates lived long before Parashara Bhattar did so it is not right to say that Bhattar followed the Socratic method of instruction before the advent of Socrates. I regret the error in getting historical dates mixed up. In spite of the error, the fact is that in Bhattar's times something very similar to the Socratic mode of teaching appears to have been in vogue. Just thought I should clarify matters.
