My name is Rajeev Karamchedu and I am a resident of Virginia.

I come from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh where I had the darshana

bhaagyam of Sri Lakshmi Nrusimhar at the Ahobila Mutt in Hyderabad

on numerous occasions. I use to attend the Sundarakaanda Paaraayanam

there during my engineering days. I came here to US in 1995 for my MS

program and am currently working as a Computer Systems Manager at

The Institute For Genomic Research (Maryland).

 

My Father's side of the family, hailing from Kurnool, A.P are all the

sishyas of Sri Parakala Matham and my Mother's Family, hailing from

the Gadwal Agraharam are sishyas of Sri Ahobila Mutt, except my mother,

who has the bhaagyam of the acharya anugraham (panchasamskaram &

bharanyasam) of Sri Abhinava Ranganaatha Parakala Maha Desikan, the 33rd

Jeer of Parakala Mutt. It is due to their " punyam " that I am associated

with this sacred religion and mathams. Obviously, my primary interests are

in Sri Sampradayam as laid out by Bhagavan Ramanuja and Vedanta Desika.
