Dear Krishna, As it is there is no problem with the above. Please visit the following site and read the instructions. http://www.ahobilamutt.org/netrules.html The relevant portion is given below: #6: Expositions of philosophical systems other than Sri Sampradayam must be avoided except when quoted as " poorvapaksha " that is then rebutted. -- adiyEn
Guest guest
Srimate Sri Laksminrisimha Divya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yatindra Mahadesikaya Nama: Srivanshatagopa sri Vedanta desika yatindra maha desikaya namaha. I think it would be better to clarify rule 7, since our own granthas of sri Ramanuja / sri Vedanta Desika / Uttamur viraraghavacharya etc. significant description of purvapaksham of advaita / dvaita / baudhha / samkhya / pasupata / shakta / nyaya vaisesika / pathanjala yoga / mimamsakas etc. When explaining purvapakshas, it may be necessary to explain statements quoted by Sri Ramanuja - like " anadi mayaya suptho yada jeevo prabudhyate ... (which states " when jeeva who is in samsara from time immemorial... wakes up to divine knowledge " - which is actually from " Gaudapada Karika " of Gaudapada, one of the prior acharyas of Sri Samkaracharya. Explanation of purvapaksha doctrines may be needed for people to understand our position clearly. This is the whole basis of all polemic works of Sri Desika - like shatadushani etc. Adiyen requests the committee to clarify this issue since, adiyen has a tendency to check out " other sampradaya " texts in great detail so as to really experience the " exemplary inimitable " acumen of our acharyas who have studied and over powered really powerful and brilliant arguments posed by stalwarts of other sampradayas (not just good for nothing nincompoops!). In fact, in the whole of bhagavadgita lectures, such a style of treatment is used by adiyen. In fact, my reverence to our sampradaya has grown tenfold since I " impartially " checked out granthas of other systems. ( I haven't done all of it but some of it). I think such a treatment is needed by atleast some types of disobedient people ( like adiyen) who do not obey elders just taking their word for it. However, I really appreciate the feelings of others who may think that this (consideration of other sampradaya texts) is a totally unnecessary confusing deviation taken by confused individuals (like adiyen). Adiyen fully agrees with the committee that in a kalakshepam style consideration of granthas of other sampradayas is more welcome than on the internet which could cause confusion.
