This gives lot of insight into the subject. Please go thro' it. Sri Anand, please forgive me for posting this without your permission. adiyEn had saved this in my data base, as one of the great posts. (mostly all your posts get into this data base). -------------------------------- You are one of my great well-wishers and you have every right to do these things without aDiyEn's opinion. The articles you appended were not from malolan net. But they were refined and produced in SrI Malolan Net as the above two mentioned articles during May 1999. So, the SrI Malolan Net version will be a better read for more clarity. Please save them in the database (if not present), instead of the earlier :-). ------------------- SrI R.Venkat,Bahrain wrote : Sri.Anand's articles on understanding our Sri sampradayam are excellent read and this particular one and other articles on Iskcon Vs Sri sampradayam are in adiyen's data base as well. In case any one need to read them adiyen will be happy to forward them. adiyen used to print out these article and circulate among the interested devotees to understand our sampradayam better. ........ --- SrI Venkat is another great well-wisher of mine. Those articles were written to some private set of people. Basically, lots of persons born in SrI VaishNava family have embraced ISKCON, because of the utter lack of knowledge on our unparalleled sampradAyam in all aspects. A small set of postings were started three years back on this regard. By bhagavad anugraham, it has made positive impact for many, to even accept SrI VaishNava sampradAyam whole-heartedly and strengthened the convictions for many. Now also, there are reports at Chennai from dedicated SrI VaishNava mothers that their daughter etc have embraced ISKCON ; From Vaidika family at Tirumalai that their son has embraced ISKCON etc. Its really a pity ....Though ISKCON spreads VaishNavism and has many plus points to be said about, from my unbiassed study, it is a very easy conclusion that it has no match whatsoever to our ViSishtAdvaita Philosophy and SrI VaishNava Sat sampradAyam. Unfortunately, aDiyEn does not have even a copy of those postings now, since everything were left at US itself. Its a great news that SrI Venkat has dedicatedly saved all those private articles. SrI Venkat has now forwarded those mails to me. Probably aDiyEn will edit them and post in SrI Malolan Net couple of months later (as there are many other priorities in queue for now). Recently, a Gaudiya VaishNava practisioner (for Two years) has approached aDiyEn, for being her guide in performing a comparitive study of SrI VaishNavism with Gaudiya VaishNavism, and complete a thesis for some project requirement reg some degree. She herself wants to be sure of what she is practising in the first place. Though aDiyEn can keep lecturing her during the monthly meets, these articles from SrI Venkat have been really God-sent in the timely fashion. aDiyEn's job is much easier now. aDiyEn rAmAnuja dAsan, anantapadmanAbhan. krishNArpaNam.
