The members must be definitely aware that the Thirunakshatram of our

beloved AchAryan is going to be celebrated in Bombay this year. Also,

the DhanurmAsa ArAdhanam is scheduled to be held here.

 

It would indeed be great fortune for the Sri Sannidhi SisyAs and

other BhAgavatAs of Bombay to have the divine presence of Srimad

Azhagiasingar and Sri Malolan in Bombay and perform various

kainkaryams to them. Also, it is going to be a real treat to hear

Srimad Azhagiasingar's ThiruppAvai upanyAsam during Dhanur masam.

 

The Sri VaishnavAs of Bombay are only too eager to extend their

kainkaryams in various forms to Srimad Azhagiasingar and Sri Malolan

and are gearing up to have a grand celebration of Srimad

Azhagiasingar's Thirunakshatram. A committee is already in place for

this purpose of which adiyEn is a member.

 

adiyEn am sure that bhAgavatAs of the Malolna Net will be eager to

participate in the various kainkaryams that are being lined up for

the occassion. Sri Jagan Bharadwaj has sought professional recording

of the ThirupAvai UpanyAsam of Srimad Azhgiasingar and has also

offerred to sponsor the cost that would be incurred in recording the

same. The profesional recording would ensure good quality tapes which

could be duplicated later.

 

Similarly, adiYen appeal the members to kindly extend help (yathA

shakthi) to the bhAgavatAs in Bombay to perform best possible

kainkaryams to Srimad Azhagiasingar and Sri Malolan. The

contributions may be in the form of cash, kind, ubhayam on the

Thirunakshatram day/other days, sambhavanai for vedha/prabhandha

adyapakars, sambhavanai for vidwat sadas to the vidwans etc. Drafts

may be sent to adiyEn's address favouring - " H.H Jeer of Sri Ahobila

Mutt " , payable at Bombay. Also, a Souvenir is proposed to be released

on the Thirunakshatram day which is to be sponsored by advertisements

from interested parties. The advertisement rate ranges from Rs. 2000

to Rs. 10000.

 

I am sure that members employed abroad can easily afford to

contirbute $50 per head on the occasion of celebrating our beloved

Acharyan's Thirunakshatram.
