Guest guest
Dear Bhavathas, I have frequently noticed that elders in the family would address acharyas in Tamil that is significantly different than what they would use for each other. while I am reasonably familiar with Tamil used in households, some of the words/sentences used in such conversations are not familiar to me. In such situations, I have often felt a little ackward to talk to Acharyas, because did not know correct language. Could somebody please direct me in this regard. 1. How to introduce oneself. 2. How to ask for the other person's intro? 3. how to invite for food. 4. How to ask questions on a discourse that has been given. ...... Bascially, what i'm looking for is an etiquette course. I remember that somebody put up such a list somewhere. (not sure if it was Sri Anand Karalapakkam or someone else). I tried searching for this with no success.
