Guest guest
Dear Members, The Kaisika purANa-pArAyaNam is of great importance during the day. SrImath ParASara BhAttArya swAmy has written a beautiful commentary on this section of purANam. I have heard that this commentary was the last work of SrImath ParASara BhAttArya swAmy. What is the importance of this Kaisika purANa-pArAyaNam? The Kaisika purANa-pArAyaNam speaks about the parathvam (unparalleled and unsurpassed supremacy) of SrIman NarAyaNa as stated in the Sabda (Veda) pramANam. It lists all terrific pApAms (sins) and identifies and proves that if a person thinks someone or something equal/superior to SrIman NArAyaNa, then the pApAm resulting out of such a thought has almost no prAyaSchiththam (panacea). The purANam is in the form of dialogue between nam-pAduvAn and a brahma-rAkshas. It is worthy to note that at that time, even a brahma-rAkshas was pramANa-tantra and has acknowledged the pramANa. We Vaidikas (SrI VaishNavas) must do the pArAyaNam of this kaisika-purANam during this occasion as per sampradAyam. Thanks & Regards M.S.HARI RAmAnuja DAsan (mshari) __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=
