Guest guest
Sri Ranganatha Divyamani Padukabhyam namaha !!! Swamy Deshikan ThiruvadigaLE SaraNam !!! Dear Bhakta-s ...Continued from Part 2 AdiyEn made a small attempt to simulate the sEvai of Swami Deshikan performing mangaLAshAsanam to Thiruvarangan. AdiyEn, on this day of Paduka AvathAra thirunAL likes to share this joy with all of you and so this picture is being sent which shows, Swamy Desikan in anjali mudrai at Thiruvarangan Thiruvadi. Looks as if Swamy Desikan in vibhavam is singing Paduka Sahasram in praise of Thiruvarangan. There is a popular line in praise of Swamy Deshikan after he composed Paduka Sahasram. It says - " Oru jaaN kattaiyil Ayiram Ottai pOtta nam thooppul piLLaiyE piLLai " True to this, as Paduka Sahasram says in one of the slokams that, when perumAL places His thiruvadi on the head of a prapanna, then, the only thing that seperates perumAL's thiruvadi from the prapanna-s head is the pAdukai. By making a 1000 holes in it, Swamy Deshikan has brought PerumAL's thiruvadi in direct contact with a prapanna head. You have captured the highlights of Our Paramacharyan's magnamopus in three succcinct, crisp postings. With your permission, adiyen would like to suggest the inclusion of these postings in the website for the Padhukas. Adiyen will try to summarize the tele-upanyasams for interested Bhagavatas like yourself. Sri Sadagopan Swamin also has made notes from the various tele-upanyasams. It is adiyen's request that Sri Sadagopan Swamin share these notes as and when time permits. Namo Narayana, SriMuralidhara Dasan
