Dear Sri Anand, Sri Jagan, Sri Dileepan

 

adiyEn am indeed delighted to inform you that Srimad Azhagiasingar performed

Sri vAsudEvan's BharanyAsam (AchArya Nishtai) today at the Sri Mutt in

Mumbai. Srimad Azhagiasingar was very happy to see Sri vAsudEvan in a very

" vilakshana swaroopam " (i.e. in vEshti and 12 thirumaN).

 

Moreover, Srimad Azhagiasingar and Vadoor Swamy were flabbergasted to listen

to the responses that Sri vAsudEvan gave to their questions. adiyEn had the

BhAgyam to act as the interpreter between Srimad Azhagiasingar and Sri

vAsudEvan. adiYen give below a gist of the short conversation between Srimad

Azhagiasingar (SA) / Vadoor Swamy (VS) and Sri vAsudEvan (SV) just before

the BharanyAsam......

 

SA: Why do you want to do BharanyAsam?

SV: To render eternal service to the Divya DampathIs.

 

VS: Who is the Divya Dampathi

SV: Laxmi Nrisimhan

 

VS: What is the relation between the Divya Dampathi and you.

SV: Perumal is Sheshi and I Sheshan.

 

SA: There are other relationships between Perumal and us such as, of a

Husband and Wife. Also, he is the father of the entire lOkam and we are his

sons..... I shall perform BharanYasam on your behalf and request him for

accepting your Bharam.

 

Vadoor Swamy then wanted Sri vAsudEvan to repeat Srimad Azhagiasingar's

Thaniyan, but to his surprise, Sri vAsudEvan knew the Thaniyan himself and

recited it to the astonishment of Srimad Azhagiasingar, Vadoor Swamy and

other KainkaryapArAs including adiYen. Listening to this, Srimad Azhgisingar

remarked that he requires no other qualification and is more than sufficient

that he knew the Thanian.

 

adiYen then added that Sri vAsudEvan has been in close association of

Bhagavatas such as Sri Jagan Bharadwaj, Sri Anand Karalappakkam and Sri

Dileepan in the U.S. and is an eKanthi with No dEvathAnthara sambhandham.

Even though he may have not undergone formal kAlakshEpam, he is aware of the

sampradAya sAram and was convinced about BharanyAsam......

 

Srimad Azhagiasingar then asked Sri vAsudEvAn to keep prostrating repeatedly

in front of MAlOlan till Srimad Azhagiasingar concluded the BharanyAsam. Sri

vAsudEvAn recited the Thanian once more....Srimad Azhagiasingar told Sri

vAsudEvan that he was very lucky that this " Adrishtam " has occurred to Him

and that too at the Divine Feet of mAlOlan who is ever Beautiful. Later, Sri

vAsudEvan was given Srimad Azhagiasingar's SripAda Theertham.

 

Sri vAsudEvan then offerred his sambhAvanai to Srimad Azhagiasingar. Srimad

Azhagiasingar once again expressed His happiness and Vadoor Swamy asked Sri

vAsudEvan to come again tomorrow for Sri Vaikunta Ekadashi.

 

adiYen later dropped Sri vAsudEvan to his Hotel. We shall be meeting in the

evening again.

 

Sri vAsudEvan has expressed his indebtedness to Sri Jagan mAmA, Sri Anand

and Sri Dileepan for getting introduced to our SampradAyam and being

inspired to undergo bharanyAsam.
