Dear Bhakta-s,

 

On Saturday 3.2.01 Rohini, the thirunakshatram of H.H Srimad ParavAkkOttai

Srirangam PoundarIkapuram Srimad Andavan Abhinava Vasishtar Sri Gopla

Deshika Maha Deshikar was celebrated at Thiruvarangam.

 

The day started early, with Srimad Andavan performing perumAL

thiruvArAdhanam. Around the same time, a huge veda pArAyaNa bhagavatha

gOShTi had already arrived at the Ashramam. After the thiruvArAdhanam, under

the presence of Srimad Andavan, the gOshTi started the chaturvEda

pArAyaNam-s and also the pArAyaNam of Srimad RAmAyaNam. At around 9.00, the

gOsTi arrived at the sabhA mantapam. At the sabha mantapam one of the

bhagavatha-s rendered a very beautiful upanyAsam on Azhwar prabandhams with

special significance to Thirumazhisai Azhwar. After the upanyAsam, all the

bhagavatha-s assembled at the sannidhi for the sAttumurai. After the

thadeeyArAdhanam, the gOshTi again assembled for a vidvat sadas. All the

members in the sadas received Srimad Andavan's anugraham. Around 250 bhaktas

attended the thirunakshatram.

 

Sriman U.Ve Dr. NSA swamy informed Srimad Andavan about his plans to bring

out a small publication for the thirunakshatram featuring the following -
