Guest guest
Dearest SrI MAlOlan cadAmbi, I quote the rule of the net as follows: " 10.Thiruvashtaaksharam, Dwayam, and other Vedic manthras must not be written out in their complete form. " The gAyatri mantra is a Vedic mantra. You can refer the SrI VaishNava sandyAvandana bhAshyam to get to know the meaning of gAyatri mantra and the dyAna slokas for the japam of the same. Please note that all mantras must be obtained only through AchArya upadESam. Within the premise of the net rules I quote swAmi SrIman nigamAntha mahA dESika's extraordinary SathadhUshNi to give only the outline meaning of gAyatri mantra: " pratipurushamanEkA: prathyavastham vichithrA: Subhagathishu dhiyO ya: chOdayathyanjasA na: | akhila chidachidantharyAmi thad-VishNu-samjgnyam savitrurahamupAsE thasya dEvasya bharga: || " This verse came to my memory as soon as I read your mail. If time permits and if the meaning of the same can be written in the list (SrI Dileepan swAmi or SrI Anand K Karalapakkam! Please advise in this regard) I will elaborately write the meaning of the gAyatri mantra and that of the dyAna slokams for the japam of the same; Ofcourse within the net rules. The net rules are wonderful and in strict accordance with the SAstra, which I want to respect always. I wish to learn the same. But I do not know if it can be discussed over the internet or should it be strictly learnt through guru-upadesham? Thanks and Regards, Adiyen Ramanuja Daasan, Malolan Cadambi " Jayatu Jayatu DevO DevakI NandanOyam " __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=
