Dear bhagavathas:

 

We are getting ready to put together a souvenir to comomorate

the upcoming Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Ranganatha Temple. We

are in need of suitable articles for publication. The topics

include (i) life and works of Acaryas such as Sri Ramanuja,

Swami Sri Desikan, Adhivan Satakopan, and the 44th Jeeyar, (ii)

Sri Vaishnavam such as prapatti, panca samskaram, etc., (iii)

articles directed towards children, (iv) topics dealing with

religious life in USA, (v) about vibhava and archa avatharas

of Sriman Narayana, etc., etc. We request each and every reader

to contribute towards this effort. We would like the souvenir

to be much more than just a collection of advertisements. Please

help us achieve this objective.

 

While most articles will be in English we also encourage articles

in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. In case of these articles please

prepare it using a popular font and send the font also along

with the article for review and proof reading.

 

Please edit the articles for easy publication. Some of the important

editing rules include, one spaces at the end of each sentence, a space

after comma, or colon or semi colon, NO SPACE before a comma or colon

or semi-colon, hard return ONLY at the end of a paragraph, NOT for

each line, etc.

 

One more important request, we would like to get any rare pictures

of 44th Azhagiya Singar for possible publication. If you have one

please scan it and send the file to me.

 

We need to get the souvenir finished in the next 3 weeks. So

please send your articles ASAP.

Sorry for leaving out Kannada in the above!

Please include it, and other languages as well.

 

Once again, we will not be able to bring out

the souvenir unless we get active participation

from everyone. If you are planning to write

an article please e-mail me with the topic and

a brief note about what you are going to write.

This will help us avoid repetitions.

Dear bahagavthas:

 

We have already received a few articles and we thank

the authors, but we need more. Where are all the writers?

Please come forward and let me know. If you are already

writing please e-mail me the topic. We have to make sure

there are no repetitions. Our schedule is tight, please

volunteer to write some articles for the souvenir.
