DEar friends,

 

I had a chance to talk to Dr. N S Anantharangachar and also meet him

personally in bangalore recently. We discussed about how we should

structure the classes.

 

For this sunday lecture the portions covered will be :

 

1. What are the different views of acharyas on Isavasyo Upanisad

 

2. In particular " sadhana " aspect of Upanisads will be explained

 

Note: If anyone has some questions regarding certain tough verses in

Isavasyopanisad, this is the time to prepare and ask questions. If you want

to ask questions offline, please send me an email and I can forward that to

Dr. NS Anantharangachar.

 

If you need any particular issue to be addressed for this lecture, you can

email me and I can request Dr. NS Anantharangachar to do so.

 

Dr. Anantharangachar requested everyone to freely send feedback and

questions regarding the structure of classes or subjects or any issue in

particular. I will see if an email list needs to be set up.

Dear Bhaktals,

 

I am eagrely awaiting Sri Vijayaraghavan Srinivasan Mama's explanation of

Madurantakam Swamigal's vakhyam on Jitante slokam.

 

I wish to enquire if Sri U.Ve.Dr.NSA swamin can breifly talk on Jitante

slokam.

I was reading " Ramanuja on the Upanishads " by Vaikuntavaasi

Prof.S.S.Raghavachar. I wish to get doubts cleared on a later stage/when

doubt arises.

 

BTW, Late Prof.S.S.Raghavachar was the HEAD OF DEPARTMENT of Philosophy at

University of Mysore. He was an " authority " in this field.

 

Has anyone read SSR's works? I would like to read a small review if

possible.
