The staffs of Indian Overseas bank (ext counter) opposite to Main Entrance of Srirangam Temple decided to instal Sri Sudharsanaashtakam by Sri Swami Desikar by painitng the slokas on a board ,inside Sri Chakrathazhvaar Sannithi just after entering inside it.One can't proceed so daringly with out getting permissions.So they made an abligation to get the permission.It was also decided to not to put Swami Desikan's Thaniyan on the top.One can easily guess why so.Finally they were successful in obtaining permission.It was installed a day morning. This created a lot of controversies and fate of that board went so bad that it was removed on the day's evening itself. I was told that there were very bad comments about that.Some questions which arose were " How dare to put such a board by ... " " Are they slowly changing the kalai in the temple " ? Some questions were very bad which I am not able to type.. WHY IS IT SO??? Is Swami Desikar is an Untouchable like that?? Had Sri Swami Desikar had told to develop such aversions against others or Had Sri Manavaala Maamunigal had told us to do so?? How many of us know our Sri Sampradaayam well? Vedas !! They are gone with the wind.. Some of our people doesn't know to which vedam they belong. Sandhyavandhanam is done only on the day of Aavani avittam.. Are Bhagavat Aaradhana Kramam properly followed in Srirangam?? Reg the problem of Thirumann on Rajagopuram,the only way to prevent such problems occuring in the future,is by having a written agreement mutually signed.If the problem bursts out with such vigor whom can be trusted?So what we call " Nan Nambikkai " is not at all the solution. Everybody knows that everyone in TN right from the government is extremely HOSTILE toowards our community.Now we make ourselves a good example for diversity in unity. Even the Taliban can be convinced but not us.The thing which we completely lack is the TOLERANCE. TO solve this problem one of the acaryas should come again to this world.I think there is no other way to solve. Adiyen Parthasarathy.
