An error was present in adiyEn's previous post regarding the shathAbhishEkam

celebrations of H.H Srimad Gopala Deshika Maha Deshikar- Part 2.

 

>The next to follow is Thirukacchi Nambi - One of the acharyas of Bhagavad

It was mentioned that Thirukacchi Nambi is one of the acharyas incarnated in

the nakshatram ROhiNi.

It is actually ThirukOshtiyUr Nambi who incarnated in the nakshatram RohiNi.

 

adiyEn is very thankful to Sriman Muralidhar Rangaswamy for rightly pointing

out and correcting.

adiyEn begs the pardon of everybody for this mistake.

Sriman Muralidhar wrote -

Adiyen thinks that the Acharya mentioned under

the asterism of Rohini was TirukOshtiyUr Nambi and not Tirukacchi

Nambi. The latter's tirunakshatram is Maasi MrugashIrsha. It is

interesting to observe that just as the message of Lord Krishna in

the Bhagavad-Gita is housed in 18 chapters, TirukOshtiyUr Nambi had

Ramanujacharya make 18 trips to his residence before instructing him

in the esoterics of the three Srivaishnava Rahasyams.

 

The most fitting tributes to H.H. came from Azhagiyasingar in the form of

Pallandu so that H.H. may live a 100 years and from U.Ve. N.S.

Ramanuja Tatachariar Swami, who pointed out that just as Lord Krishna

incarnated in Dwapara Yuga for upliftment of mankind, H.H. represents

Krishna for Kaliyuga.
