We are fortunate to belong to the ancient

AchArya Paramaprai of AhObila Matam .

 

Our Sri RanganAthA temple at Pomona, NY is ready to celebrate

the MahA samprOkshaNam in the most Vaidhic /Agamic manner.

That we could witness and take part in these extraordinary

uthsavam of consecration is one of the greatest BhAgyams of

our life .

 

An Invitation for you and your family to particpate

is on its way .

 

MahA SamprOkshaNam , Prathishtai Homams at the 8 Sannidhis,

Pushpa /TuLasi Kaimkaryam , Veda PaarAyanam on all five

days , anna dhAnam et al are under preparation .

 

In a separate note, adiyEn has listed the samarpaNams

of $2,217 from 19 BhakthAs . Some of them belong to

the Sri Matam and others are not. We as SishyAs of

the great Azhagiya Singars in general and the Current

Azhagiya Singar,Sri Parama Hamsa ParivrAjakAchArya ,

MalOla PaadhukA Sevaka Sri Adhi VaNN SatakOpa

Sri NaarAyana yathIndhra MahA Desikan in particular

have to take an active part in the fund raising to cover

Kalasa SamprOkshaNams , Sannidhi Prathishtais ,

Sannidhi Homams , Anna DhAnams on the five days ,

TuLasi/Pushpa/Fruit kaimkaryams , Vasthrrams for

the PerumAL and other PoojA saamagriyAs.

 

The amount raised sofar through pledges from 19

BhakthAs ($2,217) will cover number of items except :

 

(1) Anna DhAnam /$2,501 for Five days

 

(2) Kalasa SamprOkshaNams (19 Kalasams at $501 Each=$9,519 )

 

(3) Sannidhi Homams ( 8 Sannidhis at 501$ each=$4,008))

 

(4) Sannidhi Prathishtais ( $2,501 for Lord

RanganAthA and $1,501 each for the remaining

Seven Sannidhis ( Sri MahA Lakshmi, Sri ANDAL ,

Sri Raaman , Sri VeNugOpAla KrishNan , SrinivAsan

and Garudan )= 2501+10,507).This adds upto $13,008.

 

The Grand Total of the above Four Items comes to $29,036.

 

For Now , we can focus on item 1: The Anna DhAnam .

If we can get pledges for $2,501 (10 Sponsors at $250 each or

25 sponsors at 100$ each or other combinations) ,

we can cover this Kaimkaryam and focus our energies

on the remaining three kaimkaryams: Kalasa SamprOkshaNams,

Sannidhi Homams and Sannidhi Prathistais.

 

As the blessed sishyAs of Sri Matam , we can not forget

the Great MahAthmA, HH Srimath Mukkur Azhagiya Singar

at whose command this temple is being consecrated.

 

We can not offfer anything in return for the MahOpakArams

of this great Jeeyar and all the other Jeeyars including

the prakrutham Jeeyar , who has taken an enormous interst

in this Temple consecration for the benefit of all of us.

sacred feet. Thirumalai is where Swamy Desikan

composed His Illustrious dayA sathakam. This is

where Lord SrinivAsan received 202 Paasurams

from Ten AzhwArs with the exception of ThoNdaradippodi

and Madhura Kavi AzhwArs.

 

Thus it is a good beginning to start with SrinivAsan's

Prathishtai .
