Dearest Srivaishnavas,

 

Sri U Ve Seva Swamy has attained AChAryan Thiruvadi. I was not fortunate to see

him.

But I am blessed to have read many of his articles- all on Swamy Dsikan and his

granthas.. His bhakti for Swamy Desikan

is unmatched and used to breathe only Swamy Desikan's granthas. Smt Praveena had

written 108 posts about two years ago

for Swamny Desikan Thirunakshathram (one post a day), and when I asked her as to

how on earth she is able to get such depths

of material and that too everyday, she simply replied, " it is all due to Sri

Seva Swamy's great book on Swamy Desikan.. "

Deeply shocked to know about the sad news of the passing away of Sri Seva

Swamy.He was one of the illustrious torch bearers

of of Sri Desika Sathsampradhayam.He did yeo men service to our Sampradhayam

and notably during the 700th birth

anniversary year of Swamy Desikan in 1967 when he used to publish one grantha

of The Great Acharyan every day

and started the Sravana uthsavam at chennai.His Acharya bhakthi is matchless. He

was a tireless publisher of

Swamy Desikan's Divya Srisukthis .He had done lot of kainkaryams to our Sath

Sampradhyam and a notable

one is the publication of yearly Desika Dharsana Diary .Apart from being a

Diary it is a veritable treasure house

of information regarding naimithika, nithyakarmaunushatnams for the

SriVaishnavites including Sandhyavandanam ,

Bhaghavath Thiruvaradhanam and Amavasya darsa Sradhams and the procedure for

doing these. He was very

practical in his day to day life and was one of the guiding spirits behind the

Desika Darsanam. His loss is irrepairable

and our deepfelt condolonces to his family and ardent followers like adien,may

kindly be conveyed.
