MahA SamprOkshaNam for Lord RanganAthA at Pomona , NY on May 27, 2001:FINAL APPEAL

Dear Sri RanganAtha BhakthAs:

 

This is adiyEn's final appeal to all AasthikAs

to come forward to support this most sacred

event of its kind for years to come.

 

The celebrations will be in the most authentic

manner with the particpation of Vedic and Aagamic

Scholars from India and here .

 

Number of you have already provided support.

One BhakthA sent a samarpaNam of 10,000$ for

the Prathishtai (consecration ) of the Moolavar

Sannidhi of Lord RanganAtha . Five aasthikAs

from Indonesia sent $2,700 inspite of the distance

that separates them. Many have sent their support for

the expenses related to the MahA samprOkshaNam

and special events associated with them according to their

ability ( $25, $100 and $1,000). We anticipate a large

number of BhakthAs and their family to take part in this

festivity scheduled for 5 days (May 23-27).The details

The Bhakthi list has close to 900 plus members ,

the Malolan, Thiruvenngadam , Parakaala Matam ,

Sri Ranga Sri, SaraNAgathi and Achaarya List groups

have another 1,000 members. Number of them are

members , who take part in more than one list.

 

If 1,000 of you sent 25 to 50$ each , the amount

will add up to $25,000 to 50,000$ to provide a core fund

also for the MahA mandalAbhishEkam for 48 days after

the MahA SamprOkshaNam and daily AarAdhanam in

the most authentic manner for the coming year

and thereafter.

 

You have been very kind to indulge me and respond

favorably to my appeals for support for many kaimkaryams

in the past few months. This is my last appeal for

seeking your support for Kaimkaryams to PerumAL , ThAyAr

and AchAryAs. At the end of this kaimkaryam , I will

retire from Fund raising activities of every kind and

focus on writing about and reading the splendid works of

our sampradhAyam.
