Guest guest
Dear SrI Malolan Cadambi, You points are well received. While you generally mentioned as " respecting elders " , I welcome it but I would like to precisely mention it as " respecting bhAgavatAs of any age " . Now a question arises: Who is a bhAgavatha and who one should have bhAgavata SEshatvam towards him. This question has been answered in SrImath rahasya traya sAram clearly. If we search the internet and even India, it is difficult to get a person like SrI Anand K Karalapakkam. It is impossible. I cannot even imagine myself in his position or anyone in his position. The vairAgyam I have is so poor. SrI Anand K Karalapakkam needs no introduction. His high degrees (India & Abroad) and educational qualifications would have fetched him very high professional positions in any part of the world with all modern comforts. Though by age, he is young, by gnyAnam and vairAgyam he is very great. He has totally dedicated his life I should say for the study and spread of SrI SampradAyam. I personally know about his traditional kAlakshEpam studies, which he is doing. The efforts that he has taken to print the SrI sUktis (divine works) of SrImath U.Ve. abhinava dESika are simply great. As per his own wish, I am not elaborating about his kAlakshEpams and kainkaryams. He has adopted SaraNAgathi by the divine anugraham of HH SrImath azagiya singar swAmi of SrImath ahobila muth. To summarize, as of now, given the qualifications, age and such factors, it is simply not possible to a bhAgavatha-uttama like our SrI Anand K Karalapakkam. This is not a muka-stuthi. Because neither I like muka-stuthi not he likes it. It is reality. As per SrImath rahasya traya sArams 18th chapter (aparAdha parihArAdhikAram), even if one gets rejected by a true bhAgavatha for no fault, he/she should immediately do praNAmams to the bhAgavata and seek the mercy and beg for forgiveness. Even if a bhAgavatha-uttama rejects a person, a true SrI VaishNava must not consider it as a fault of that bhAgavatha but instead must think that his own pApams that are giving results in that form. Now tell me how much pain I would have experienced when I saw some allegations getting reported in this list for no fault of our SrI Anand K Karalapakkam! I will say that even if this bhAgavata uttama tells something harsh (there is no scope for this as he being dedicated and devoted is being trained in traditional manner in parama vaidika sidhdAntham as well as in anushTAnams) I will simply listen to that without raising voice. But the fact here in the given context is, he has not even spoken anything harsh. If he points out some mistake, then a true SRI VaishNava must simply apologize even before analyzing the case. Publishing a SrI VaishNava SrI SampradAya book (grantham) in an authentic form and becoming qualified to be a SrI VaishNava vidwAn (as per traditional manner) are very difficult jobs. Men and women without even wearing TirumaN-SrI ChUrNam Urdvha puNdrams, using modern means like western comforts and without having attended any SrI SampradAya (ubhaya Vedantha) kAlakshEpams have no right to pass comments (adversely) on such bhAgavatha uttamas (this is a general statement and I am not pointing to any personality - please do not make a new issue out of this point). To determine whether a person is true bhAgavatha or not, we need to consult SAstra and see his jgnyAna anushTAnams & vairAgyams; one must not use mere anumAnam for this. No one is needed as " lighthouse/light " to spot such bhAgavata uttama because the light of the bhAgavatha uttama itself is sufficient to spot him! Therefore, talking adversely against such bhAgavatha uttamas in any situation (even if the bhAgavatha has erred) is bhAgavatha apachAram. The swarUpam of a true SrI VaishNava is not simply bhagavath SEshatvam. It is BhAgavatha SEshatvam. Before one could talk about bhAgavatha apachAram, he should have identified the bhAgavata; otherwise, that talk is useless. I ascertain that SrImath U.Ve abhinava dESika has come again in the form of his dowhitran to propagate SrI SampradAyam using internet and such advanced media and preserve our swAmi dESika SrI SampradAya SrI sUktis in English also. I cannot tolerate any adverse words from any one against this swAmi. Even if some one calls me as mouthpiece of this swAmi, then I do not care for such satire and sarcasm. These discussions have given lot of pain to my heart. It is my fortune that I got the sambandam of SrI Anand K Karalapakkam. " PeTTRu ini pOkuvanO " ? Finding a real SrI VaishNava scholar is becoming rare and rare day by day. Having seen SrI Anand K Karalapakkam, who is the dowhitram of SrImath abhinava dESika swAmi, one must encourage him and have Seshatvam towards him and have highest regards and gratitude towards him for his wonderful services. This will make us to get our pApam removed. This will fetch us bhagavath anugraham. I am not exaggerating. Having SEshathva anusandAnam towards such SrI VaishNava uttamas (irrespective of age) will make our swarUpam safeguarded. On attaining this SEshathva anusandAnam, I who have studied the granta chatustayam by bhagavath bhAgavata AachArya anugraham, cannot even think of passing some allegations adversely on this swAmi even in dreams. Because of age and such lowkika factors, please do not underestimate my mail. Because of age and such lowikika factors, please do not underestimate this swAmi also. Even if I am strongly criticized for writing this mail (and previous mails in the context of the painful discussion), I will not care for that critique. I pray at the lotus feet of SrImath ahobila mAlola lakshmI nrusimhan (just prior to this painful discussions was SrI Anand K Karalapakkam's brithday!) and pray that my swarUpam of being SEsha and dAsa to this great soul and such souls continues to be the same eternally. I pray at the feet of all such BhAgavatas to forgive me for any apachArams due to my lack of Aatma guNams and manda-budhdi. Thanks & Regards M.S.HARI rAmAnuja dAsan (mshari) __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N=
