If it is consistent, then how can Sri >Hari and CHi. Anand make such strong attacks on another >Srivaishnava. This is contrary to our traditions. The monitoring policy practiced in Sri Malolan Net is within the scope of the rules and regulations approved by the board of Sri Ahobila Muth. Further, monitoring is done by a committee based on consensus, not by individual fiat. To my knowledge the committee has applied these rules in a consistent manner without regard to personal biases and preferences. In the present instant I do not believe either Anand or Hari attacked anyone in a personal manner. On the contrary it is they who were on the receiving end of personal attack. I can prove this with the exchanges that have taken place. If you disagree with me please communicate your case with proper justification to the monitoring committee. We can arrange for Sri Anand to recuse himself. Your complaint will receive an impartial and timely investigation. You can rest assured that no single individual is above the norms of this net. We all have personal opinions. Fortunately, Sri Malolan Net monitoring is done not by a single individual, but by a committee. Therefore, one is more *likely*, it is only likely and no one can give absolute guarantees, to get a fair hearing. Further, I will give you my personal word that we will try our best to be impartial. BTW, while monitoring posts, the committee is guided by the teachings of our tradition as handed down by a lineage of illustrious acharyas. We do NOT try to interpret poorvacharyas words on our own accord based purely on book reading. In case of tricky issues we have approached our Acharya for a determination. For these reasons the posts appearing in our archive are more *likely* to be consistent with sampradayam than other e-mail lists. adiyEn is comfortable with this claim. Obviously, no e-mail list can claim exclusive and absolute authenticity. No one has made any such claim. If you think either Hari or Anand did this please present the evidence to the monitoring committee and prove it. Otherwise, I request everyone to refrain from openly accusing anyone of " unethical behavior " or " making strong personal attacks " , etc. When presenting authentic information one may come across to some as being forceful. Some may even feel it is a vulgar display of egotism. This is an occupational hazard that will have to be endured. In this day and age image is everything, perception is reality. Therefore those who present doctrine without spilling anything (sinthAmal) takes on the risk of getting accused of " ahankaram " et al. Be patient and deal with it. Just make sure you remain true to Sampradayam and reflect Acharya's thiruvuLLam. As far as the antecedents of Sri Malolan Net is concerned, Sri Srinath has already commented on it very nicely, nothing further needs to be said. Thanks, -- adiyEn p.s. adiyEn is in respect to other sincere followers sadAcharayas. Here we may want to remind ourselves as to what Swami Sri Desikan proposed he would do to others, very beautifully explained by Srimad Azhagiya Singar in one of the upanyasams.
