Guest guest
Dear bhaktas: People in the North East should take this up as a serious volunteer effort to promote the teachings of Sri Sampradayam. Sri SMS Chari is an octogenarian vedantic scholar who has had kAlakshEpam under eminent SriVaishnava vidwans and AchAryas; his numerous books on SriVaishnavam are an authentic source of knowledge for readers from all ages and backgrounds. Truly they don't make people like SMS Chari anymore - FYI in case anybody forgot Sri SMS Chari is also a devout Sri Matham shishya. AdiyEn has the good fortune of being related to him (he is my late atthimbEr's first cousin). Recently we noticed a great deal of activity related to the first USA visit of Sri Velukkudi Krishnan; the results were also very encouraging. It only shows that such things are quite possible to accomplish with the right amount of committment from few people in each city/location. Why don't we try calling out for volunteers in different NE cities in the USA - such as Sri Muralidhar and Sri Sunder in Boston, Sri VijayRaghavan in Buffalo, Sri Rajaji and Sri Nadadur Madhavan and Sri Sadananda in D.C. etc. Just thinking aloud... if at all there is anywhere to begin planning this it is in Malolan Net - what better place than here, to consider such kainkaryam towards an EMINENT scholar and Sri Matham shishya?? adiyEn -Srinath C. > > Krishna Kalale [kkalale1] > Friday, June 08, 2001 4:05 PM > > FW: Shreeman S.M.S.
