The Bhoomi Puja will be performed on Saturday (June 15th, 2001). Veda Parayanam, prabandha parayanam will take place. Sri Hanumantha Prasad Bhattar of Aurora Temple will be the pradhana archakar (head priest). Apart from this, there will be homams perfomed also. I warmly welcome Bhaktas living in and around Ames to be present during the function and obtain the blessings of Chakravarthi Thirumagan, Sri Sita sametha ramachadra swami. I am aware that this is message has been sent in a very very short notice. I sure do hope that bhaktas living in and around ames, will be able to make it to the bhoomi puja. Here are the details and directions: Event: Bhoomi Puja Date & Day : June 15th, 2001 Saturday Time: 7:00 AM Onwards Directions: 1.) Take 30 West from Ames en route Lincoln way 2.) Drive to till HIGHWAY 17 (SOUTH) 3.) Towards the south of highway 17, there will be an INTERSECTION within 2 miles of Madrid, Iowa. 4.) The left road will be a dead end road 5.) Towards the south west dies, there will be a HUGE YELLOW Board displaying the temple.
