Concept paper - A CD-ROM Encyclopedia on Swamy Deshikan. A CD-ROM on the Life and Works of Swamy Deshikan is presently being planned. An estimation is that it would be a set of 2 CD-ROMS. All suggestions are welcome. The tentative layout of the CD-ROMS would be the following - Background - Introduction to Vaidika Sampradayam - Vedas, Upanishats Early exponents of Sri Vaishnava philosophy The advent of Azhwars and divya prabandhams Acharya lineage till Bhagavad Ramanuja Bhagavad Ramanuja - Short Summary on Life, Works and Philosophy of Vishishtadvaitha Shishya paramparai of Bhagavad Ramanuja Introduction to Swamy Deshikan Life of Swamy Deshikan Detailed account of the Life history of Swamy Deshikan with photographs (yet to be arranged, please help !) Swamy Deshikan's shishya paramparai Works of Swamy Deshikan Detailed essays on all the works of Swamy Deshikan Swamy Deshikan special - Special articles and papers on Swamy Deshikan. Audio and Video clippings Works on Swamy Deshikan Essays on all the works on Swamy Deshikan. All the details would be supplemented with photographs. The multi media animation is yet to be planned. Request - It is adiyEn's humble request that all the members participate in this kainkaryam. The following are adiyEn's requests in this regard - 1. Permission to use some of the material and photographs which are hosted on the various web sites. If any of the administrators have any objections kindly let me know. 2. Permission to use the archives of the discussion lists for details regarding Swamy Deshikan. If the moderators have any objections, kindly let me know at the earliest. 3. adiyEn would also like to know if anybody has pictures of the paintings of Swamy Deshikan's life that are depicted on the walls of the prAkAram at Thuppul.
