Our ANDAL's Thiru Aadippooram Celebrations

Dear BhakthAs :

 

Today is the avathAra Dinam of Soodikkoduttha NaacchiyAr .

Today is the day of the Car festival of our ANDAL at

Sri VilliputthUr . Today is the great day of celebrations

at Srirangam temple .

 

Sriman Venkat Iyengar of Srivilliputthur has written a wonderful

account of the car Festiavl at Srivilliputthur . Srimans Rangaswamy

and MaadhavakkaNNan have paid their tribute to the lady , who wedded

RanganAthan .

 

Last Saturday , we celebrated ahead the Aadipooram celebraitons.

A beautiful and SaasthrOktha Thirumanjanam for our ThAyAr was

done . Sri RanganAtha priyai heard the recital of Sri Sthuthi ,

BhU Sthuthi and GodhA sthuthi bty assembled children of Hers .

She was then united with Lord RanganAtha and a ThirukkalyANa

Uthsavam was celebrated next . Ladies sang many KalyAnam songs

and the 5 Bhattars , who came especially for the MahA samprOkshaNam

left thereafter for India. A grand farewell was given to them

and the dhivya dampathis blessed them for their kaimkaryam .
