time Sanskrit students

The CD will make a user master the writing and

pronunciation of Sanskrit

language and help the reading of any Sanskrit text

(Example: Bhagavad Gita,

Upanishad, Stotram etc.) in the Devanagari script.

The CD provides a user with two options of learning

levels namely Beginners

and Advanced. The CD contains numerous Sanskrit words and

430 Sanskrit

alphabet animation, both levels combined have 5800 sound

files. There are 16

conversation steps that have audio and visual references.

The verb examples

include 110 verb forms with audio aide. In addition there

are 47 audio case

ending examples of nouns and pronouns.

 

The CD has sections on Alphabets, Basic grammar,

Subhashitani, Sandhi,

vocabulary,shabdamanjari, number, gender, cases, pronouns,

adjective, verbs,

avyaya,upasarga,samasa, slokas, Interrogatives, Taddita,

kaaraka, dictionary,

glossary and documentation of help files in html format

which can be browsed

by a web browser, and also printed for reference.

 

Animation for writing of alphabet vowels, consonants and

combined letters are

illustrated with examples visually and with sound.

 

In the dictionary, important and frequently used Sanskrit

words with

meanings in English along with their transliterations are

included.
