Dear all,

 

The latest issue (Aippasi/Oct) of the official

magazine of SrI ParakAla Mutt viz. " SrI HayagrIva PriyA "

is a must possesion for everyone of us. This issue is

dedicated to the understanding of the " SrI " Tatvam.

Excellent articles from various vidvAns have been

assembled together. We are indebted to the Editor

SrI TC Shrinivaasan for providing us with such very

valuable articles.

 

Twelve articles are presented by twelve vidvAns, with topics

being " ThirumagaL " (pirATTi) in VEda-Upanishads,IthihAsa-purANas,

SrI PAn~charAtra Aagama, VaikhAnasa Aagama, Divya Prabandhams,

SrI ALavandAr's SrI-SUktis, SrI EmperumAnAr's SrI-SUktis,

SrI KUrattAzhvAn's SrI-SUktis, SrI ParASara Bhattar's SrI-SUktis,

EeDu <SrI NampiLLai's commentary to ThiruvAimozhi>,

SrI NaDAdUr ammAL's SrI-SUktis, SrI VEdAnta DESika's SrI-SUktis.

 

The last two articles by SrI KaruNAkarAchArya SwAmi (scion

of ammAL lineage) and SrI " MahAmahOpAdhyAya " SrIvatsA~nkAchArya

SwAmi respectively, are outstanding running more than 40 pages

each. Many insights are shown in these articles and in others

as well. No new introduction is needed about the vast erudition

of SrI SrIvatsA~nkAchArya SwAmi, the ardent disciple of

" abhinava-dESika " UtthamUr SwAmi. SwAmi's article is amazing

to say the least - while the topic is also on the amazing

SrI-SUktis of SwAmi DESikan.

 

All these excellent articles are from eminent vidvAns and its a

treasure for us. Please procure one copy for yourself. The bulky

To be frank, aDiyEn couldn't leave the book down after started

reading the articles and the last two are the pinnacle. aDiyEn

learnt many new insights from these articles and would like you

also to read and enjoy. The excellent analysis of various

pramANas in an unbiassed way, as presented by our pUrvAchAryas

are well brought out by these eminent vidvAns, with some adding

their further insights too.
