Guest guest
sri: srimathe ramanujaya namaha Dear Members, This is to wish you and your family members a very happy diwali. My father taught me this slokam. I wish to share it with all the members. The legend has it that Chakravarthi Ramachandran returned to Ayodhya after defeating Raavana. The occasion marks the ascenion to the throne of ayodhya by the scion of the surya vamsham. The entire ramayanam can be recited in one slokam as follows: AADOU RAAMA TAPOVANAADI GAMANAM, HRUTHAAMRUGAM KANCHANAM, VAIDEHI HARANAM, JATAAYU MARANAM, SUGREEVA SAMBASHANAM VAALEE NIGRAHANAM, SAMUDRA THARANAM, LANKA PURI DHAAHANAM. PASCHATH RAAVANA , KUMBAKARNA VADANAM, ETAD HI RAAMAAYANM. Best Wishes for a happy diwali, Adiyen Ramanuja Daasan, Malolan Cadambi Ames, IA.
