Dear BhakthAs:

 

On this sacred day of SravaNa DhvAdhasi, adiyEn extends to You

prayers for the growth of SadAchArya sampradhAya Sambhandham.

 

We have covered the portions upto Moola Manthram of the First

Chillarai Rahasyam of " SrI SampradhAya Parisuddhi " so far. In

this issue, we will start with the upadEsams of Swamy Desikan on

Dhvaya Manthram.

 

The presentation on the Fourth Chillarai rahasyam, " Tatthva

NavnItham " by Dr. N.S. AnantharangAcchAr Swamy has now been

completed. Additional thoughts on this important ChillaRai

rahasyam will be presented in the future issues.

 

SrI Thirukkudanthai Sampath Rengarajan is commencing his series on

Desika Prabhandham today with this posting. It is customary to

start with the Prabhandham of Adaikkala Patthu in our

sampradhAyam. This prabhandham consists of ten paasurams plus a

phala sruthi paasuram. The metre is Kocchaka KalippA. Swamy

Desikan performs SaraNAgathi to lord VaradarAjan in this

Prabahndham and describes in his first Paasuram his Aakinchanyam,

his inability to practise anushtAnams like Bhakthi yOgam. Swamy

Desikan has blessed us with a SrI Sookthi known as NyAsa Dasakam,

which echoes the thoughts of Adaikkala Patthu.

 

ThUppul NithyArAdhan Kaimkaryam project is making steady progress.

There is still room for additional BhakthAs to join in with their

support to realize the project goals of uninterrupted

NithyArAdhanam for Swamy Desikan and ThirutthaNkA ViLakkoLi
