Sri Vilakkoli Perumal, Thoopul/ThirutthaNkA dhivya Desam: SlOkam 27 or 28 ? A correction.

Dear BhakthAs:

 

In yesterday's posting , a mistake has crept in

the numbering system . The slOkam quoted by mistake

is slOkam 28 of SrI SaraNAgathi DhIpikai. The comments belong

however to the 27th slOkam . Here is the 27th slOkam

for replacement :

 

Thvath prathikoolya vimukhA: sphurthAnukoolyA:

kruthvA puna: krupaNathAm vigathAthisankhA:

Swamin bhava svayam upAyam ithIrantha:

Tvayaarpayanthi nija bhAram apArasakthou.

 

I will comment on the 28th slOkam tomorrow.

My apologies for the confusion.

 

The occurence of the word " VimukhA: " in both

slOakms must have thrown me off . In the 27th slOkam ,

Swamy Desikan refers to " Thvath prAthikoolya vimukhA: " .

In the 28th slOkam , he refers to " arTAntharEshu

vimukhA: " .
