Guest guest
sri: Srimate Srilakshminrisimha Parabrahmane Nama: Srimate Sri Lakshminrisimha Divyapadukasevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri NarayanaYatindra Mahadesikaya nama: namo narayana! Even though we experienced some technical difficulties for a couple of weeks, the last two upanyasams were loud and clear. I would like to encourage everyone to sign up and take advantage of one of the unique opportunities to learn about our tradition and philosophy. Srimad Azhagiya Singar's upanyasam on Thirunedundhandagam is based on the commentary of Sri Periyavachchan Pillai. One has to listen to believe how Srimad Azhagiya Singar makes even the hardest aspects of our Sri Vaishnava philosophy easy to understand with simple daily-life examples. In the last two weeks many advanced concepts were covered within the context of the first pasuram of Thirunedundhandagam. For example, from the phrase " iRappathaRkE eNNAdhu " , Srimad Azhagiya Singar explained about " kaivalyam " equating kaivalyam to the state of death. Another example is the most subtle understanding of how Sriman Narayana ensouls everything in the universe. What is the difference between inanimate material prior to and after the creation of the material universe, how does Sriman Narayana pervade these materials and what is the state of jivas within these materials? Even though the subject matter is highly technical, Srimad Azhagiya Singar explained these concepts in a way everyone can easily understand. The next upanyasam set for July 6th. After that Srimad Azhagiya Singar will be on sancharam for about 4 weeks and we are unlikely to have any upanyasam during this period. After that, Srimad Azhagiya Singar will be camping in Mumbai for Chaturmasyam. Therefore, starting from end of July, we are likely to have upanyasam every week.
