SrI:

Dear SrI VaishNavAs:

After months of dedicated effort ,

the First Volume of the glorious lives of

the 12 AzhwArs in the Interactive Multimedia CD ROM

format has been completed.

Number of You have provided seed money for

the project Many months ago. All of those ,

who have provided support for this kaimakryam are

requested to contact me so that I can send

you a copy of the informative and aesthetic

CD ROM in English in September or sooner .

The first Volume covers the Lives and dhivya

Prabhandhams of FOUR AZHWAARS as well as the dhivya dEsams ,

which were the object of their MangaLAsAsanams

(Euologies ). Each of their Paasurams of these are

recited by Tamil Prabhandam experts from

ThirunArAyanapuram temple , Melkote in the same

style as was recited during AchArya RaamAnujA's time.

The entire 5 centums of Periya Thirumozhi of

PeriyAzhwAr , ThiruppAvai and NaachiyAr Thirumozhi

of Andal , ThirumAlai and ThiruppaLLiyezucchi of

ThoNdaradippodi AzhwAr and AmalanAdhipirAn of

ThiruppANar are recited in a majestic and delectable

manner by the Dhivya Prabhanda AdhikAris from

ThirunArAyaNa Puram .It would be invaluable

to follow them and learn about the palces to stop

in traditional recitation.

The narration of the authentic taxt on the lives

of the AzhwArs is by profesisonal voice-lending

artists. The Text of the lives was composed by a

Srirangam Scholar , SrI Thirumanjanam SundararAjan

Swamy.

The colorful and beautiful graphics and the easy

interactive navigation is under the direction of

Dr.M.A.Alwar of Melkote/Mysore . The special

effects like the joining of Andal's jyothi joining

RanganAthA are beyond description. Andal's svayamvaram

where the Lords of many dhivya dEsam compete for her hands

and the beautiful bridegrom, Sri Ranganaatha.

VeeNA Sunaadham is always in the background , when

one moves from one page to the other in the CD ROM.

Rendering of beautiful raagams like AabhEri , Poorvi-

KalyAni et al are heard a t the approprioate gaps .

PraNava naadham pervades elsewhwere. VeeNA rendering of Veda

Manthram SahanAvavathu is thrilling to listen to.

The focus of the First Volume of this CD ROM

is Lord RanganAthan of SrIrangam . PeriyAzhwAr

is the father-in-law, Andal the bride , ThOndaradippodi

is RanganAtha pathivrathai and ThiruppANar merged with

the Lord like Andal at Srirangam.

Both Dr.Alwar and Myself as project Directors are

happy to recieve Lord RanganAthA's blessing to bring

this project to this stage of release.

We need your help to cover a deficit of $1,000 to

provide sambhAvanai to adhyApAkAs ( reciters of

the Dhivya prabhandham , graphic artists and

printing expenses for the cover and reproduction of

the CD ROM copies.

This CD ROM like the earlier AchArya RaamAnujA CD ROM

and the twin audio tapes on the lives of AzhwArs in

English for use during car travels will be a valuable

addition to your libraries to teach children and adults,

who may not be familiar with our great SrI vaishNavite

Darsanam.

May I request all of You to contribute waht you can

to bring thsi kaimakryam to the very final stage.

One devotee has already pledged $100 from Florida .

I look forward to all fot he aasthikAs from around

the globe to take part in this important kaimkaryam

relating to Ubhaya VedAntham .
