Dear BhakthAs:

 

With Swamy Desikan's anugraham , the write up on

the first 100 Naamams of His SahasranAmam has

been completed now and placed at our AchAryan's

Thiruvadi as a prelude to the RathnAngi Kaimakryam for

Lord DevanAtha PerumAL of ThiruvahIndhrapuram.

 

adiyEn wants to make an announcement now on where

the future postings on this subject will appear and

the reasons for this decision.

 

The future postings will appear only in Oppiliappan Net

and Desika SampradhAya net . Since the subject matter is

somewhat esoteric from here on , the postings may be of

limited interest to many.

 

 

The subject matter is precious and complex. A lot of

study has to be made by going to original commentaries

to gain even a glimpse of the meaning of these SahasranAmams.

 

Dr. NavalpAkkam VipascchinmaNI VaasudEvAcchAr Swamy's

MahOpakAram following the niyamanam of HH SrImath

PoundarIkapuram Andavann to bless us with the vyAkhyAnam for

the 1000 plus NaamAs of Swamy Desikan . His great

contributionscan not be thanked enough.

 

For a clearer understnading of the complex

topics ,ideally KaalakshEpam under a sadAchAryan

is absolutely essential. Knowing the difficulties in

achieving this goal, the intent of my postings is

to create ruchi for many to seek a SadAchAryan ,

who is THE expert in Sri VaishNava Darsanam

and who is thoroughly familiar with the SrI Sookthis

of our PoorvAchAryALs in general and Swamy Desikan

in particular .There are a precious few of them now.

 

 

adiyEn knows fully that it is not going to be an easy effort

for me to tackle the intricacies of our siddhAntham .Yet the desire

to know more about Swamy Desikan's monumental contributions

to the growth of our SrI Bhagavath RaamAnuja SiddhAntham

propels adiyEn to undertake this task . All the mistakes made

would be adiyEn's and request the scholars to correct

them as adiyEn makes progress. This is the way , we can

learn together and approach opur AchAryans for needed

clarifications as we make progress. With deep salutations to

ASMATH ACHARYAN , HH Srimath Azhagiya Singar , adiyEn will

continue with this spiritual journey .

 

 

Thirukkudanthai Desikan composed this sacred SahasranAmam

for Swamy Desikan with the DhivyAnugraham of SrIman NaarAyaNan

and His AchArya Paramparai and captured the deep metaphysical

and theological contributions of Swamy Desikan for the growth

of SrI VisishtAdhvaitha Darsanam. With his profound scholarship ,

Thirukkudanthai Desikan distilled the essence of the monumental

SrI Sookthis of Swamy Desikan (Viz)., SathadhUshaNi,

Tatthvamuktha KalApam , Rahasya granthams, RakshA Granthams ,

Prakarana granthams , KhAvyams and SrImath Rahasya Thraya Saaram.

 

adiyEn wil attempt to bring the rich flavor of the commentary

of Dr.VaasdEvAcchAr Swamy's scholarly , Tamil monograph and add

appropriat special notes , where the passages become difficult.

It is not going to be easy .

 

adiyEn's prayers are to Asmath AchAryan and SrI HayagrIva

BhagavAn to help me contribute to this kaimkaaryam and share it

with Swamy Desika BhakthAs and abhimAnis all over the world .
