This is a follow-up to our first mail on Madurandagam school

a couple of weeks back.

 

Sri. P. N. Sridharan, the Honorary Secretary of the Sri Ahobila Matam

Educational Institution, has already started the construction of

the computer center. The budget for this is Rs. 4 lacs ($8000) of

which Rs. 2 lacs is already available. He is looking for $4,000 from

new sources. If you wish to contribute towards this fund please

let us know.

 

Sri Sridharan is about to hire a new project leader for the computer

center. This action would increase operating expenses by about $150

per month on a continuing basis. As we search for permanent funding

for this expense, we are looking for contributors to fund this for the

first year. Particularly, we are looking for 12 families, each to pick

up one month expense of US $150. If you wish to participate in this

project please send us a check written in favor of Sri Ahobila Muth and

All contributions are 100% tax deductible in the U.S.

 

Sri Sridharan will be able to hire the Project leader only if at least one

year of funding is assured. Please note, your contribution in this effort

will benefit the boys of the school get a modern education built upon a solid

foundation of Sri Vaishnava tradition. Further, it will help the institution

attract bright students in the years to come. Your participation will be

recognized and showcased in a way that motivates others to join. This is

an urgent need. Please respond with one or more months of support as soon

as possible.

p.s. The response to our last appeal was fairly good. A couple of

individuals have donated equipment. Some have committed funds.
