Guest guest
Respected Madam Ji, My humble namaskaram to your good self. Trust this mail finds your goodself in pink of health. At the outset let me thank your kind help.I had petitioned Hon'ble CM of TN, for helping my family friends mother for family pension which she did not receive for the past 8 months . Your action under the Hon'ble CM's instruction vide Chief Minister's Special Cell Ref.No.347086 dated 06.09.2002 is commendable . The action is triggered and to cover up the deficiency officials have sent fresh set of form for life certificate and asked her to fill and return it back thus seemingly cover up the deficiency in efficiency. I am sure you will get the poor souls blessings. Madam I am sending a yet another mail to Hon,ble CM of TN separately and i am sure as usual you will help me .The gist is a apachara meted out to H H Srimath Srimooshnam Andavan of Srimath Srirangam Andavan Aasharam who is a head of the age old Vaishnava Mutt in our India. I am attaching a mail received from Sriman.P.Dileepan-USA who is a member of our religious e group. Then I visited the site of Times of India and the article which came in website is reproduced below . Aunty the Apachara caused to Great Acharya is highly condemnable . The concerned Official should be pulled up, Sent for re-orientation course and also sent to a place on posting where he will not have any contact with Civilization. A bad mole brings a lot of bad name for us in Foreign country. I am sure Justice will be done. I know Hon'ble CM will be pre-occupied with the burning Issue of Cauvery, but i request you to kindly take the matter to CM ji and do the needful . With Warmest Regards, L.Sridhar. The Andavan Mutt has been closely associated with the traditions of the Varadarajaswami temple here since the time of Saint Ramanuja. The pontiff visited the Varadarajaswamy temple on Thursday, and on Friday night he called the press and announced that an insult had been meted out to him in the temple. He said the traditional privilege of offering 'panchamudra' (touching the forehead and arms of the devotee five times with the crown of the lord by the temple priest) was refused to him expressly. He said this refusal came as an oral instruction from the temple 'manikkarar' (officer). " The temple priests expressed to me their regret at such an order which they agreed was irregular but still had to obey, " the pontiff said. The pontiff said the Supreme Court had clearly defined that customs and practices must be followed strictly in anciet temples. " But contradicting such court orders, today all customs and practices are given the go by. The officials misuse their powers and extend honours indicriminately, " he said. The matter has been referred to the HR and CE commissioner, he said. -- COMMENTS ON THIS ARTICLE
