Guest guest
sri: Srimate Srilakshminrisimha Parabrahmane Nama: Srimate Sri Lakshminrisimha Divyapadukasevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri NarayanaYatindra Mahadesikaya nama: namo narayana! This time Deepavali in the U.S. (all time zones) will be on Nov 3rd, Sunday, not on Nov 4th like in India. Chaturdasi must be present when you take Naraka Chaturdasi snanam. In India birth of Amavasyai is at about 6:00 a.m. on Nov 4th. Therefore, at the time of snanam by about 3:00 or 4 a.m. Chatrudasi will be present. However, in the U.S. birth of Amavasyai is at about 7:30 p.m. on Nov 3rd. There will be no Chaturdasi on Nov 4th morning in the U.S. Therefore snanam must be done on Nov 3rd morning when Chaturdasi will be present. Sishyas in the Gulf may also have deepavali on the 3rd itself. Please double check. Let me know if you have any further questions. -- adiyEn ramanuja dasan srimad azhagiya singar thiruvadi
