Dear BhakthAs :

 

Few days ago adiyEn posted a note to all of You

about the use of new media technogies to

preserve and protect for posterity the rich

and brilliant articles writeen by AchAryAs and

reputed scholars that appeared in the monthly

issues of SrI Nrusimha PriyA from 1942- now.

 

As adiyEn mentioned , these articles are timeless

and provide for beginners and scholars alike

authentic source information on the doctrines

and practises of SrI vaishNava sampradhAyam .

 

The appeal for support for realizing this Kaimkaryam

is attached .

 

The project has started rolling with the initial

pledges of $1,620 against the estimated need of

addiitonal $5,380 . adiyEn had suggested that

all the sishyAs and abhimAnis of SrI matam

as well as SrI VaishNavite sampradhAyins from

all branches of Bhagavath RaamAnuja sampradhAyam

can benefit from the benefits of this project

aimed at saving these treasures . adiyEn volunteers

to organize few BhakthAs to provide a paragraph level

summary at the front end for each of the articles

in English to go with the original Tamil/Sanskrit

based text (Moolam) . There will be queryable index

across the 720 plus issues of the 60 plus years

of SrI Nrusimha PriyA .

 

Regarding the assembly of the remaining $5,380 needed,

adiyEn has invited You all to contribute YathA Sakthi.

The costs to cover the sacanning and digitalization ,

content search Software development expenses can be shared

amongst all of us along these lines:

 

1. SamarpaNam for covering one year's issues : $120

(Based on the estimate of $10 per each monthly issue )

to link to your year of birth or your parents or consort

or Children , Sashtiyabdha Poorthi , SathAbhishEkam

celebrations etc . If you work for a company , your tax

deductible contributions can be matched by Your employer,

if they have such a program . adiyEn can provide you

details as to where Your samarpaNam can be sent in USA

for U.S Tax deduction purposes .

 

2. SamarpaNam for covering multiple years of issues is most

welcome . Three bhakthAs have already donated $500 each

to gain momentum on the execution ofthis project. You

are most welcome to consider such multi-year coverage

samarpaNams .
