Suddha satvam has two important features. (i) It is ajada or non material (ie) it is spiritual in character and like jnAnA it is svayam prakAsam. (it is opposite to jadam " jada is that which is absolutely non-intelligent and does not posses the characetristics of revealing itself to others. " ) (ii) it is achethAna in the sense it is UNLIKE the self .....it cannot know but manifests itself always for others.(ie it is parAk) A point to be noted here is achethanA has the character of jnaNa or the power of revealing the objects but achethanA does not have the power of knowing itself. Prakrithi is jada vasthu and nithya (eternal).. regards venkatarAghava dhAsan P:S:-Jadam and achethanam are not to be confused with eachother.
