Thiru Adhyayana Uthsavam at Pomona Temple: Part II (Dec21-30,2002)

Dear BhakthAs:

 

We are " feverishly " working towards the organization

of the Thiru Adhyayana Uthsavam a la SrIrangam at

the Pomona Temple of Lord RanganAtha.

 

Thiru adhyayana Uthsavam is nothing but an ancient

Naama KusumAnjali ( archanai and anjali with the 4000

Paasurams of the 12 AzhwArs during the sacred month of

Margazhi.

 

Lot of TuLasi, Pushpams , NaivEdhyams are needed during

every day . MangaLa Vaadhyams like VeeNai , Mrudhangam

accompany these offerings along with the auspicious sound

of dhivya prabhandham and Veda manthrams . On Swamy NammAzhwAr's

Moksham day , huge amounts of TuLasi are needed.

 

We need sponsors for each of the 10 days of this Pahal Patthu

and Iraa Pathu Uthsavams. Please come and be with us . That itself

prabahndhams (Ten dollars )

Periya ThiruvandhAthi/87 , ThiruvAimozhi/1102 ) a Total of

1296 Pasurams .

 

6. Madhura Kavi : 11 Paasurams

 

7. KulasEkarar' PerumAL Thirumozhi: 105 Paasurams

 

8. PeriyAzhwAr's 473 Paasurams

 

9. GodhA Devi: 173 Paasurams ( 143 of NaacchiyAr Thirumozhi

and 30 of ThiruppAvai).

 

10.Thondaradippodi AzhwAr's 55 Paasurams (45 of ThirumAlai

and 10 of ThiruppaLLiyezucchi ).

 

11.Thirumangai's 6 Prabhandhams totalling 1253 Paasurams

( Periya Thirumozhi: 1084, ThirukkuRum ThANDakam:20 ,
