Agenda for HH Sri Jeeyar Swamy's visit to Denver

Respected Ra:ma:nuja bhaktas,

 

We are in the process of finalizing an agenda for HH Sri Sriman Narayana

Ramanuja Jeeyar's visit to Denver. He and his entourage will be

visiting us for only two days, so I must seek their forgiveness ahead of

time in what will certainly be a rather rigorous schedule for them.

 

Here is what we have planned currently:

 

Wed, July 18:

 

Early PM - Arrive Denver

 

Afternoon - Rest and anushta:nam

 

Evening (6:30 - 9:00 PM): Interfaith symposium with representatives of

Christian, Jewish, B'hai and Buddhist faiths. Topic: The Need for

Religion in the 21st Century. Hosted by the International Ramanuja

Society.

 

9:30 - 10:30 PM: Questions and Answers with those interested in

receiving sama:sra:yanam

 

Thu, July 19:

 

Early AM - Thiruva:ra:dhanai

 

Mid AM - sama:sra:yanam for local devotees

 

12:00 - 4:00 - pa:da pooja at the homes of interested devotees,

sightseeing

 

4:00 - 6:00 - rest and anushta:nam

 

6:30 - 9:00 - Sri LakshmiNa:ra:yana pooja at Sri RadhaGovinda Temple,

Hosted by Denver ISKCON

 

Fri, July 19:

 

Early AM - Thiruva:ra:dhanai

 

Mid AM - planning meeting with the International Ramanuja Society

 

Early PM - leave for airport

 

I would appreciate feedback from all of you regarding this schedule, and

sincerely request HH Sri Jeeyar Swamy to kindly reply as to whether this

schedule and proposed events will be suitable.
