Guest guest
Dear Sri Mukundan, I am hoping that this posting has been directed towards another individual or individuals outside of this forum, and is not directed towards a specific member or members of this Society. In case it is, however, I feel that I should state the following: The International Ramanuja Society's purpose is to foster and promote the philosophical and humanitarian ideals of Sri Ramanuja. As both kalais (school of Vaishnavism) and all muthams (religious centers) find their origin and the pinnacle of their teachings in Bhagavad Sri Ramanuja, and through Him to Sriman Narayana, the Society would consider any attempt to question the validity of any of our AchAryas and scholars, irrespective of kalai, as an offense to Ramanuja himself. A similar position is taken with regard to all devotees of the Lord, irrespective of race, caste or gender. I am deeply pained that attempts are now being made to inaccurately represent Sri Manavalamamunigal as not being an avAthara of Ramanuja/AdisEsha and not being the AchArya of Sri Ranganatha. It only reflects the arrogance and ignorance that is has tainted our community of late. We can only pray for the anugraham of Sri Ramanuja such that we all realize that our only salvation lies in offering ourselves in the position of slaves to all the AchAryas and scholars who serve at his thiruvadi(twin lotus feet). adiyEn rAmAnuja dAsan Mohan GeoCities - quick and easy web site hosting, just $8.95/month. http://geocities./ps/info1
Guest guest
Sreemathe Ramanujaya Namaha Very nicely put mail. What these people are not realising is that they are bringing embarassment to their own Kalai and to their Acharyas. As you have put it only Srimad Ramanuja can inculcate some Bhakthi and buddhi in these people. May be the motto of every list should before they post something, they should CHECK OUT their EGO and check in humility and Bhakthi, if not their mails should not be approved. They don't realise they are doing the greatest apacharam of all, insult other devotees. May Our POORVACHARYARS and PERUMAL give them some sense. We can only feel sorry for such souls.
