Guest guest
Dear Sri Srikanth: As far as I know , Rahu Kaalam is more important to avoid for Subha Kaaryams. Please check with Sri SaranAtha Bhattar duering his visit with you tomorrow about the significanc eof Yama Kandam.. Both (Rahu Kaalam and Yama Kandam )of them are computed from Sunrise to Sunset . This interval as you know is shorter in winter (Dec 21) than in Summer(June 21). This time difference between Sunraise and Sunset is split in 8 ways and the one seventh is used for each of the day. The 8th portion is discarded as shown below. Rahu Kaalam starts on Monday ( say 7.30 -9.00 AM ) and progresses thru Saturday, Friday , wednesday , Thirsday, Tuesday and ends with Sunday (4.30 to 6.PM). These are for places where the Sun rises at 6 AM. Yama Kandam has the same time split from Sunrise to Sunset. It starts with Thursday ( 6.00 to 7.oo AM ) and progreses by 90 minute intervals thru Wednesday, Tuesday , Monday (10.30-12.00 Noon), Sunday, Saturday and Friday( 3.oo to 4.30 PM). have a wonderful celebration tomorrow.
